Police, restaurant praised

On Sunday, we stopped for dinner at the Waltzing Weasel, one of our favourite spots in your city. Within a few minutes, someone alerted restaurant staff to a problem with a vehicle in their parking lot that turned out to be ours.

The business owners and staff were very helpful and would not take payment for our meal, against our wishes as it really had nothing to do with them.

The London police constables who attended also were very professional and helpful.

My wife and I feel it necessary to recognize the business and your police department, since, far too often, only criticism is expressed. Thank you from Stratford residents.

Heaven discussed at forum

Regarding Tom Harpur?s column Doctor tells convincing afterlife tale (March?8).

I also found Proof of Heaven a fascinating read. Eben Alexander explains in detail how it would have been physically impossible for him to have hallucinated this experience because his visual cortex, as well as other parts of his brain, were shut down.

Many people have had experiences of heaven that offer proof of an afterlife. There will be an open discussion on experiencing proof of heaven on April?28 at 7 p.m. at the Church of St. Jude, 1537?Adelaide St. N., (corner of Adelaide and Fanshawe Park Rd.) sponsored by London Seekers and the London Spiritual Experiences Group. Admission and refreshments are free.
