[ubuntu] Ubuntu as real iphone audio dock

Hi,

since 10.04, ubuntu is capable to connect with iphone/ipod/ipad, thank's to gtkpod and idevicelib, we can playback music on PC using bashee or rythmbox and that's cool.

anyway, i don't find a way to use my ubuntu as a REAL audio dock through USB.
What i mean is that i want to use ipob on my iphone to select music and :that it goes out from my computer speakers.
Right now, the only way to do so is by using shairport (https://github.com/abrasive/shairport) wich is simulating a airplay station. Anyway this method is great but it doesn't charge the iphone since the sound is sended through wifi.

Does anyone now a way to make ubuntu become a "real" iphone audio dock like the one that are sold, selecting the music ON the iphone, not ON the PC

thank's all

good linux to all
